Where does the money for our schools come from?

All public schools in the state of Ohio receive funding from three sources: federal, state, and local (in Big Walnut this is both property and income taxes).


Let's take a look at how Big Walnut's revenue sources compare to some state-identified similar districts. Similar districts are determined by type of setting (rural, suburban, or urban), average student population size, and level of student poverty.
